Discover a new place on the cultural map of Bydgoszcz.After the renovation, in March 2021, a fragment of the premiere edition of the contemporary art exhibition: IMAGES OF UN / REALITY was made available to visitors. The exhibition presents creative statements in the context of both being inspired by the prevailing ideas and attempts to develop your own artistic paths. It will include works by artists such as Ryszard Winiarski, Henryk Stażewski, Stanisław Wejman, Andrzej Wróblewski, Teresa Pągowska, Jan Cybis, and Józef Czapski.
The museum plans to gradually open new rooms of the exhibition IMAGES OF UN / REALITY together with the collection of paintings "Jan Stanisławski and his students". The collection is a donation from Wanda and Leonard Pietraszak to the city of Bydgoszcz and it’s inhabitants. The collection of 57 works consists of works by 39 authors, including Jan Stanisławski, Antoni Procajłowicz, Jan Wojnarski, Teodor Ziomek, Stefan Filipkiewicz, Stanisław Czajkowski, Stanisław Kamocki, Stanisław Gałek, Iwan Trusz, Witold Rzegociński, Wlastimil Hofman, Alfons Karpiński, Marcin Samlicki, Tadeusz Rychter and Ignacy Ignacy.
