You can learn about the interior of the earth at interactive exhibitions in the Archaeological Collections. It is there that a unique collection of antiquities awaits, including the oldest ones from the Stone Age. Thanks to an interesting artistic arrangement and numerous reconstructions, you can move into the atmosphere of those times.
Permanent exhibition "On the border of Greater Poland and Pomerania. Bydgoszcz and the region at the dawn of history” presents material culture, and through it’s prism also various manifestations of social and spiritual life of the ancient inhabitants of Bydgoszcz and it’s vicinity. The exhibition includes multimedia "animated archaeological monuments". Children are invited to the virtual fitting room and sandbox.
The facility is located on the TeH2O Industrial Water and Craft Trail in Bydgoszcz.

Regulamin i warunki

To use the ticket:
  1. Inform the staff at the cash desk that you have the Bydgoszcz Tourist Card.
  2. Your Card will be verified.
  3. After positive verification of the Bydgoszcz Tourist Card, you will receive a ticket.

Information for people with disabilities

There are 2 entrances to the building from Mennica street and from Międzywodzie. The building has a vertical lift without a shaft, allowing it to overcome the stairs leading to the entrance, to the cash register area. People in wheelchairs can visit the permanent exhibition "In the Bydgost’s Gord. The secrets of the life of early medieval inhabitants of Bydgoszcz and its vicinity” located on the high ground floor of the Archaeological Collection building and temporary exhibitions in the building's basement (separate entrance), to which the exit leads. The entrance stairs can be overcome using a stair platform. There are no Braille markings in the building, no contrast or enlarged print markings for the blind and partially sighted.
